The Challenge

To provide an urban garden area of the highest design quality which is accessible while being fun and functional. The products would have to be:

Functional to accommodate the special needs of the customer.

Resilient and suitable for Irish conditions.

Accommodate the vision specified by Peter Donegan (Landscape Architect).

Available to suit the tight project timeline.

The Solution

The rear extension of this project was constructed using Roadstone’s Huntstown Brick. The colour used was Golden Multi and the brick was given a rumbled finish.

The Huntstown concrete brick range offers a unique range of colours and textures, providing stylish, durable and innovative building solutions to designers, contractors and house builders alike.

Huntstown brick is also colour and texture compatible with the full Forticrete range of facing masonry specials including quoins, sills, splayed and coping units.

Roadstone has a network of Retail Outlets and display areas throughout the country where you can view and collect samples of Huntstown brick.

The Result

The Golden multi brick used produces a blended colour surface to the wall, which complimented the modern look of this A rated extension.

The blend of colours provide for a bright and airy space to the side of the house opening up the garden area and allowing the architects brief to be achieved

Takeaways

Roadstone technical staff should always be engaged with before the beginning of large projects. This gives the client the full benefit of the project experience of Roadstone staff.

A Roadstone Retail Outlet should be visited before commencement in order that customer can see and take-home samples of the paving or walling options.
