Roadstone Wins At The Irish Concrete Society Awards

The Irish Concrete Society’s 39th Annual Awards Evening took place at the Clayton Hotel, on the 26th March 2022, Established in 1977, the prestigious Annual Awards are a celebration of excellence in design and construction in Concrete and acknowledge construction achievements in which concrete, in any form, contributes significantly to the built environment.

This year Roadstone was very successful with the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Bridge winning in the Infrastructure Category and the Skate Park and Plaza at Le Fanu, Ballyfermot winning the Elemental Category and was also declared the Overall Winner.

The Skate Park and Plaza provides a much-needed space for local youths to practice with state-of-the-art facilities. Careful consideration of the concrete mix was essential to allow for both the concrete placement and finishing operations to be completed in a timely manner and crucially adhere to a finished concrete tolerance of less than 2mm.
