The Challenge

To provide a house frontage of the highest design quality which is accessible while being fun and functional.

The products would have to be:

Resilient and suitable for Irish conditions

Functional to accommodate the needs of the customer

Available to suit the project timeline

The Solution

Roadstone supplied 700m² of Castlestone Paving in Limestone Blend colour in a 60mm mixed bale.

Also supplied was Kiln Dried Sand for the paving and 80m of Petite Bordeaux Wall Capping.

The paving and walling products were manufactured from Roadstone’s paving plant in Gooig, Co. Limerick.

The Result

A paved surface with a blended colour which is suitable for pedestrian and light vehicular traffic.

The product was both functional and visually pleasing. The paved surface gave the house a contemporary appearance which sat well in its surroundings.

Takeaways

Ensure that a sample, or existing project, of the paving is viewed before construction begins. This means that the look of the paving can be agreed before it will be constructed.

Roadstone Technical staff should always be engaged with before the beginning of large projects. This gives the client the full benefit of the project experience of Roadstone staff.
