The project is located along the N11 Stillorgan Road and N31 Mount Merrion Avenue. All of Mount Merrion Avenue is included within the scheme as well as the section of the N11 from the Mount Merrion Ave junction to Lower Kilmacud Road and the on/off ramps at the Wyattville Road Overbridge. The scheme extents as shown in map below.
Description of the project
The objective of this project is to carry-out Road pavement renewal works for the extents of the N11 and N31, and as shown in the map above. The works will include but are not limited to, the cold milling of the existing road surface and a 45mm bituminous inlay replacement.
The Works will also include the following works:
- Road pavement repairs
- Localised repairs to footpaths/cycle tracks
- Repair and replacement of sections of damaged drainage infrastructure
- Reinstatement of line marking
- Resetting of utility covers
Roadstone has been appointed as the main contractor for the works.
Work Duration
Works Duration for project will be approximately 5 months.
Location 1 will be the N31 & works are planned to commence from the 14th February 2022
Location 2 will be the N11 Stillorgan road and works are planned to commence from the 16th February 2022.
Location 3 will be the on/off ramps at the Wyattville Road Overbridge. These works are planned to commence from the 21st March 2022.
A letter drop was completed to notify the residents of the start date of the project.
Each week a new letter will be uploaded to the Roadstone webpage to inform residents/stakeholders of locations of works being completed.
